Maximising uptake

A two-form entry school, this Primary School is split over two sites with a separate site for Infants and Juniors. Nourish prepare and cook the meals for the Junior School and transport this over to the juniors with the main kitchen situated on the infant site.

We have recently:

• Introduced a new Operations Manager who has worked tirelessly to support the current manager and team to improve overall staff morale and job satisfaction
• We have also introduced refreshed counter marketing to improve the overall dining experience and environment for the pupils
• Held an information evening for the new intake reception class, accompanied by marketing and food taster sessions, and held a fun, informative and interactive healthy eating assembly for all pupils
• Introduced a salad bar for the Juniors.

Testament to the working partnership Nourish has with the school, meal numbers have jumped up by at least 60 meals a day with a noticeable increase in after-school numbers.
